I used to be able to hear the fan in my notebook and can no longer hear unless i turn it upside down and there is a slight hum. Is there more than one fan? I notice when not running on DC it stops or freezes after about 20 minutes. Is there a way to check if fan is running? I uses to be able to hear it come on>:think2:

explain plz. do they make one for mac powerbook?

it will work with any laptop that has a usb jack. it is usb powered and has two fans that are inside a pad your laptop sits on.

i think it was around 30 bucks but it could have been cheaper... worth it's weight in gold as it is saving me from frying the innerds of my machine.
